Proverbs Chapter 4, verses 11–12 reads:
“I will guide you in the way of wisdom, and I will lead you in upright paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hampered, and when you run, you will not stumble.”
We gather here today by the power of our Heavenly Father,
Who brings us joy, peace, and grace.
Each day we walk this Earth, He walks beside us,
Leading us with open arms,
For He is Father first, and He is Father always.
Fathers, you should already know this, but let me remind you:
You are amazing.
You are loved.
You are compassionate.
You are hardworking.
You keep going, even when you feel like giving up.
Fathers, you have faced battles that are not always spoken about.
You have carried a role that requires strength, patience, and a grateful heart.
Your courage, your boldness,
Your wisdom and your playfulness,
Are all qualities that inspire those around you.
Fatherhood is beautiful:
When love for family becomes the heart of all things.
When children become the focus of all things.
When being a positive role model becomes the centre of all things.
Fathers, you make a difference,
Whether you always notice it or not.
You are important.
You are valued.
You are worthy.
Never believe that you are unseen, unrecognised, or unwanted,
Even when life places challenges in your path.
Remember, God placed you exactly where you are meant to be.
Fathers, it is okay to feel fearful.
It is okay to need time to pause.
Because you deserve space to rest and recharge too.
Just remember who you are,
And remember who is watching your steps.
Continue being the best you can be,
So those who follow behind you
Can walk forward with strength, love, and unity.
May God continue to guide your path,
Strengthen your heart,
And remind you of the incredible purpose you carry.
