As I saunter in the winter breeze,
The soft rustle of trees, the stillness in the air,
Bring peace and clarity to me.
Pondering upon the spirit, the soul within me, and the road I’ve travelled along,
Provides a fresh perspective, a beautiful song.
Of gratitude, of love and faith,
Being able to exist in love and grace.
To be present, despite the challenges I face,
For the gift of life is my daily embrace.
The coolness reminds me how warm my heart is,
Despite the silent anxieties and challenges that sit within.
The barren landscapes fill me with hope and renewal,
For growth always comes through restoration and healing.
Healing from the weight that’s been carried too long,
Releasing the guilt, knowing my emotions aren’t wrong.
Making space for new boundaries without hesitation,
Letting go of behaviours that disturb my meditation.
Strolling through the ambience of the night sky,
Brings appreciation and wonder to my eyes.
To keep pushing with all my might,
To keep thriving and holding onto the beautiful light.
For the promises of the changing seasons
Bring many opportunities and reasons
To live life with a grateful heart and kindness,
To walk in hope and embrace serenity and blessings.
