Poetry For Healing: Words For The Days That Feel Heavy

Woman Meditating in a Forest

God, I know that You are here,
I feel Your presence in the atmosphere.
On the days, where my heart feels heavy and weak,
You are the one, I choose to seek.

On days that feel long, dark and grey,
With Your love, I know I’ll be okay.
As the nights feel cold, and I’m in despair,
I know that You, are always near.

On the days the burdens, try to weigh me down,
I know that through Your words, You’ll always be around.
In moments where the anxiety, becomes too much,
You strengthen me, with Your loving touch.

You remind me, that there’s hope, in the midst of the storm,
That chains are breaking and I’m being transformed.
With a sprinkle of your mercy and grace,
It’s time to embrace, the power of Your greatness.

For I deserve to soar and fly high,
I have been down for too long, now it’s time to reach the sky.
Bruised and bound, from head to toe,
Now it’s start time, to start letting go.

Of the cycles, that have blocked my way,
Of the unbelief, that caused me to stumble through the days.
For, this is a season of growth, adventures and peace,
And in this era, it’s about abundance and ease.

Easing into a place of passion, new ideas and opening doors,
Turning the pages, I need once more.
Breathing in the new beginnings, my spirit was made for,
Leaning into the whispers of purpose I’d long ignored.

In every chapter, I feared was closed too soon,
Now glimmers again beneath a hopeful moon.
With faith as my anchor and courage restored,
I rise, renewed and ready for the life I once prayed for.

For this is the season where healing outpours,
Where brokenness mends and blessings restore.
And with God guiding each step I move toward,
I step into abundance, no holding back anymore
