Forgive Us Our Trespasses

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with all that we are.
We lift up our hands and surrender.

We ask You to cleanse us, from the crown of our heads to the soles of our feet,
So that we are refreshed and renewed when it’s our time to meet.

Please forgive us:
For every spirit not aligned with You, may they break free right now.
For every thought unworthy of You, may they be blocked out right now.
For every pain we have caused to others, may healing come to them right now.
For every wrongdoing, may our guilt be stripped away right now.
For every stronghold of addiction, may that bondage be broken right now.
For being too far in the world, bring us home right now.
For all the things we know are not of Your will or Your way.

Heavenly Father, please forgive us today.

In our moments of confusion, we pray for Your clarity.
In our moments of weakness, we pray for Your strength.
In our moments of fear, we pray for Your peace.
In our moments of shame, we pray for Your honor.
In our moments of greed, lust, temptation, and envy, we pray for Your grace and mercy.

Heavenly Father, please forgive us today.

Break us, mold us, shape us, teach us, heal us, and restore us back to righteousness.

We thank You for never leaving nor forsaking us in our times of mistakes and troubles.
We thank You for reminding us of Your unfailing and divine love.
We thank You for listening to us and holding our hand.
We thank You for bringing us home.

We thank You for Your Son, Jesus Christ, and for all that He has done for us, so we may be born again into Your Kingdom.

Psalm 51:10–12
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me from Your presence or take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
