What is kindness?

According to Google, kindness "is the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate".

So does it take a lot to be kind?

Will it cost time, to help someone, have a peaceful mind?

How long does it take, to say a nice word of encouragement?

Because how would we feel, to know we've helped someone on their way to fulfilment?

Kindness, is powerful.

There is power, in the things we speak,

It can uplift or tear down, things people seek.

The world needs less competition and more empowerment and motivation,

Less degrading and bullying and more unity and elevation.

Kindness, is beautiful.

The amount of smiles that can be raised, from a positive word,

Can help us to finally feel, that we're being seen and being heard.

The way we can capture hope and our faces, can suddenly light up,

From the appreciation we receive, causes our hearts to happily thumps.

Kindness is cherishable.

Oh to be able to look back, at cherish someone's kind word or action,

To acknowledge what they did, for our own satisfaction.

To hold onto, how they made us change and feel,

To be grateful, that brought us out of our hidden ordeals.

Kindness is gateway.

Sometimes we can feel stuck, because we haven't had that love,

But having someone who is sincere, can make us feel, we are more than enough.

To have that affection, generosity and sincerity,

Is a gateway for our breakthrough; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Kindness is being humble, being patient and understanding.

It's about listening to someone's journey, and helping them to get through difficulties.

Kindness, is being modest, gentle and carrying unselfishness,

Allowing empathy and sympathy, to break barriers of hostility.

Kindness is treating people, with respect and gratitude,

Leading them to contentment and out of solitude.

For we never know someone's journey, but can only do our part,

And being genuine and kind, is where we can start..

Lets guide, pray and adore one another,

So that we may rise in joy, happiness and prosperity together.

Don't let who we were, block us, from who we can become,

Because success is much better, when we're united as one.
