WELCOME 2024

I look up at the sky, with a tear in my eye,

Because there's sadness, yet gratitude in my goodbye.

For the door I'm about to close, but blessed for the new journey,

Thankful to God, for guiding and keeping me.

I can't believe it, 2024, is here,

I have made it, another year.

Despite emotions and situations, that tried to set me back,

I am grateful for strength, that allowed my comeback.

To step into this new season, with hope and faith,

That I will be victorious, courageous and brave.

Physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually,

Elevating and growing in purpose, so that I can be free.

Free of negativity and of second guessing myself,

For now is the time for joy, so i’ll start by taking the old me off the shelf.

Changing my mindset about who I am and what I deserve,

But most of all, embracing this new learning curve.

Never forgetting how far I have come

Even when memories follow

When I stay in the present, I can listen and

Yearn all the goodness of life

Every season, brings a lesson

And every lesson, brings experience

Remembering that, I am always blessed

So 2024; I welcome you, with love and appreciation,

May this chapter be of, peace and dedication.

To being the best version, that I know I can become,

Where I'm healthy, happy and shining like I have already won.

For by God's grace and mercy, may I empower and aspire,

To motivate, to uplift and always inspire.

Others to grow, to believe and thrive,

For this chapter of elevating and succeeding has arrived.
