Blessings flow, so we can

Elevate and soar in this new start, as we

Reach beyond the stars and the moon

October; what a month you are,

You come tumbling in, with unsettled weather.

Either a mini heatwave or you come with the rain,

We just don't know, what our bags should contain.

Packing light or extra garments,

The battle to go outside, or stay in our apartments.

You bring the feeling of cosiness and settling down,

Being tucked up in our duvets, with the smell of pumpkin spice floating around.

You bring us, the meaning of isolation,

Just wanting to be safe and snug, in our environments.

With the four corners of our walls, giving us peace and protection,

Along with grace and a divine connection.

For the blessings of a new season, creates a beautiful feeling,

With a blanket of hope, gratitude and healing.

To be present in the moment and restoring from chapter nine,

You give us clarity, and a sound mind.

October, in our story, you are chapter ten,

You are not about the ifs, you are about the whens.

When we will rise and be successful in our dreams,

For with God in our midst, nothing is as impossible as it seems.

For where there is trust and faith,

Our situations, will never stay the same.

As long as there is, ambition and determination,

There will always be room for growth and elevation.

So as your cool breeze embrace us, as we turn another page;

May there be nothing but joy in our hearts,

May there be gratitude, in every start.

Like the leaves fall, in order to grow again,

May we become stronger women and men.

Embracing our emotions and not being afraid to share,

Because the world needs, some genuine ears.
