MUMMY I LOVE YOU

I know I am not the only one, who feels this way,

But my heart is beating, with something to say.

To tell you, to remind you and to show you, how much you mean to me,

Because after all that you have been through, that might be hard to see.

For the heartbreak you have endured, in such a short amount of time,

Is enough for anyone, to leave part of themselves behind.

But every morning you wake up and you continue to seek each day,

That strength is something, I pray God always brings your way.

Upon your small shoulders, you carry so much courage,

You get up and attend your daily tasks, even when you feel discouraged.

Your heart, is full of so much love and care,

You raise a smile, even through your tears.

You are patient, you are mindful and kind,

And I am so grateful, that you are a Mother of mine.

We share the same traits, trying to do our best for those we love,

Sensitive souls, who do our best to remain tough.

So when I look at you, I see myself.

I am very proud of you and the way you have had, to handle change,

And I know, somethings might seem a bit strange.

But remember who you were before, life took it’s toil,

Remember how you blossomed, in the nourishing soil.

The soil filled with; compassion, with individuality, with joy and happiness,

Let those come back to you, so you can live life in the best.

You are amazing and I thank you, for all that you do,

You are never a burden, I just wish I could do more for you.

You are beautiful, so please never lose that smile,

May restoration come back, may fun be around, may you grow, as you walk out in style.

You are stronger than you think, so never give up,

And I pray that God, overfills your cup.

With abundance, with peace and with good health,

So Mummy, please make sure you look after yourself.
