Life constantly shows us, the importance and the power of healing. We all go through many highs and lows in life, that sometimes the thing that hurt us; has broken us and caused us to lose ourselves or what has hurt us, has helped us to have a different perspective on life, compared to others, or and has helped us to find ourselves.

Healing is a process and there is no timeframe on it. We all heal differently and in our own timing and accepting that, is a great start to the process. No one heals the same way, but every story can help inspire someone else along their journey.

Here are some scriptures for healing, which I hope you will find enlightening.

‭‭1 Psalm‬ ‭Chapter 73, verse 26‬

My flesh and my heart faileth: But God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

‭‭2. Psalm Chapter‬ ‭147, verse 3‬

He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds [healing their pain and comforting their sorrow].

‭‭3. Jeremiah Chapter‬ ‭17, verse 14‬

Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; Save me and I will be saved, For You are my praise.

‭4. 3 John‬ Chapter ‭1, verse 2‬

Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually].

‭‭5. James‬ Chapter ‭5, verse 15

And the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

‭‭6. Psalm Chapter‬ ‭6, verse 2

Have mercy on me and be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am weak (faint, frail); Heal me, O Lord, for my bones are dismayed and anguished.

7. Jeremiah Chapter 33, Verse 6

Behold, [in the restored Jerusalem] I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace (prosperity, security, stability) and truth.

8. Psalm Chapter 103, Verse 2-4

Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul, And do not forget any of His benefits; Who forgives all your sins, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you [lavishly] with lovingkindness and tender mercy.

9. Isaiah Chapter 58, Verse 8

Then your light will break out like the dawn, And your healing (restoration, new life) will quickly spring forth; Your righteousness will go before you [leading you to peace and prosperity], The glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.

10. Proverbs Chapter 3, Verse 5-8

Trust in and rely confidently on the LORD with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD [with reverent awe and obedience] and turn [entirely] away from evil. [Prov 8:13] It will be health to your body [your marrow, your nerves, your sinews, your muscles—all your inner parts] And refreshment (physical well-being) to your bones.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I pray no matter what may come our way, you give us the strength and the courage to heal, from the pain within us. May you open our hearts to new opportunities and new ways of thinking. May you break every barrier of doubt, of shame and fear. May you transform our hearts and minds, so that we can; see, feel, touch, hear and smell the goodness of your grace and mercy, that enables us to transform and elevate, in our purposes. May we heal gradually and gracefully, in Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

I pray peace and healing, will be your portion xx
