Here, I sit upon the fluffy white clouds,
As I look down, I feel so very proud.
Of you.
How you’re taking it one day at a time,
Knowing that, slowly you will be fine.
I know you miss me, because I miss you too,
Just know I’m by your side, in whatever you do.
I’m here; very close, holding your hands,
Just whisper your worries, I’ll understand.
That even though, I’m not physically here,
In your hearts and memories, I’ll always be there.
So whenever you think of me, remember my laugh,
I hope it’ll help you through, the moments that are tough.
You’re never alone, know God is near,
He’s given me a home, so I can be there.
There for you: to hold you and comfort you,
To hug you, in all that you’re going through.
As you think of me, don’t lose who you are,
Look after yourself and don’t let your dreams stray too far.
Make sure you eat, you laugh, live and be at peace,
Breathe in gratitude and let grief find relief.
For Christmas, is the time of renewal and transformation,
So unite with others, there’s no need for segregation.
Surround yourself with others, with joy and thanksgiving,
For Christ sacrificed himself, so you can go on living.
Don’t feel pressure to stay stuck or weighed down by pain,
Life is meant for you to grow, to heal, and dream again.
I want you to blossom into all that you can be,
Taking each moment to feel free, to be at ease and to be happy.
So, as you light your candle, I will light mine,
That in time, we will both find..
Each other.
Let your heart, go on in faith and hope,
May your eyes, wonder in freedom.
As your mind, holds onto the good memories,
