Life, is like a tree, full of many ups and downs,
Planting experiences and learning curves, upon our ground.
As we hold the soil of pain, fear and disappointment,
We earn to nourish these grains, to find a way to contentment.
For the paths we travel, can get us to re-evaluate our values and worth,
But why should we let the treatment of others, determine our place on this Earth?
For created in each of us, is something beautiful and unique,
And that light alone, should make us complete.
Life is precious and beautiful, despite the setbacks,
But we will find the strength, to get that comeback.
We may not see or feel it now, but what matters is being present,
For our dreams and legacies, will be our investments.
There will be times where we will fall and don't want to get back up.
There will be times when we're broken and feel unfixable.
There will be times where we will feel different and out of place.
