FATHERS DAY

Proverbs Chapter 4, verses 11-12 reads:

"I will guide you in the way of wisdom and I will lead you in upright paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hampered, and when you run, you will not stumble."

We are here today, by the power of our heavenly Father,

Who brings us joy, peace and Grace.

Each day we walk this Earth, he is with us,

He leads us with open arms, for he is Father first and always.

Father's, you should already know, but:

You are amazing,

You are loved.

You are compassionate,

You are hardworking.

You keep going, even when you want to give up.

Fathers, you've been through battles, not always spoken about,

You've taken on a role, with a full and grateful heart.

Your strength, your boldness,

Your wisdom and playfulness, are inspiring.

Fatherhood, is beautiful:

When love, for family is the heart of all things,

When kids, are the focus of all things.

When being a positive role model, is the centre of all things.

Fathers, you make a difference, whether or not you notice that.

Fathers, you are important,

You are valued and you are worthy.

Never feel you are not recognised or not wanted,

Even when things are stacked up against you.

Remember God, placed you where you're supposed to be.

Fathers, it's okay to be fearful,

It's okay, to want time out.

Because you deserve, your space also.

Just remember who you are,

Remember, who's watching your steps.

Carry on being the best you can be,

So the ones to follow, are walking in unity.
